The Eldora Stock cars return for the first time since June 25, when Richmond, Indiana’s Paul Pardo and Kentucky’s Earnie Woodard crashed their way across the finish line with Pardo the victor but his car destroyed. Pardo leads the championship standings by a scant three points over defending champion Rob Trent, former champ Frank Paladino, young sensation Jordan Conover and Donnie Jeschke who is tied with Woodard for fifth in the standings.

The DIRTcar UMP Modifieds make their first trip to Eldora since May’s Johnny Appleseed Classic when Joey Kramer secured the victory. Jeff Koz is now leading the points by a mere six markers over Brian Post, Joel Dick and the Pennsylvania brothers Jonathan and Evan Taylor.

About Eldora Speedway:
Since carved from a cornfield in the natural amphitheater that existed between the Eldora Ballroom and the Wabash River by bandleader Earl Baltes in 1954, Eldora Speedway has grown to be a frontrunner in motorsports growth and stability. Celebrating its 63nd season in 2016, Eldora hosts the biggest events in short-track racing including the 22nd annual Dirt Late Model Dream by Ferris Mowers; the 33rd annual Kings Royal Weekend; the fourth NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on dirt – the Aspen Dental Eldora Dirt Derby; and the 46th annual World 100.
