There are some unique dynamics to this weekend’s rescheduled World 100, including the fact that so many people will be converging upon Eldora in such a short window of time – via personal vehicle, campers, RVs and haulers. Also, many fans who traditionally camp are staying at hotels or day-tripping this time.

The parking lots are going to fill quickly – here are some tips:

  • BRING YOUR CAMPING PERMIT – EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT CAMPING:
The parking lots will fill up quickly. You can use your campsite as a reserved parking spot for your vehicle plus your camping permit will be honored for FREE parking – ALL DAYS – for Eldora Village and Northside parking lots. Take a picture of your permit if it is stuck on your camper window at home, print it out on 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper or bring your email confirmation – the attendants will work with you.

  • PLAN YOUR ROUTE – REMEMBER THERE ARE OTHER WAYS TO GET HERE

We know not everyone is coming back but we have to plan for it – there could be anywhere from 18 to 40 miles of campers (if you measured them nose to tail) convoying their way to the World 100

As of Thursday morning, fewer than 30 sites remain in the new Lot 5 Reserved Lot – check with Don & Diane at the Lot 1 Camping Check-In for any remaining sites – all other campsites on Eldora-owned property have been sold.

If the roads start to get congested on Friday and Saturday, we will open the south gate on State Route 118 for a second entrance to Eldora Village.

We will also open the north gate on State Route 118 to Northside Camp & Park which will allow entrance to Northside, Northside Extension and the Silo Lot.

Lot 1, Lot 2 and Lot 3 campers should use their entrances accordingly.

A new entrance has been built into Lot 4 with signage and Lot 5 now has a “RESERVED CAMPING | LOT 5” entrance as well.

  • POST-RACE TRAFFIC SUPPORT: the Darke County Sheriff Patrol and local Volunteer Fire Departments will be conducting post-race traffic control on both Friday and Saturday night – including some counter-flow lanes. Please follow their directions for your safety and that of your fellow race fans. The faster we can cross the pedestrians, the faster we can clear the Main Lot (which will be going south).

We hope when you get here, you’ll see all of the drainage, gravel, improvements and repairs done since September as a sign of our commitment to you, our great fans, on always improving your experience here. If any piece of the property could not take that much rain, it can now or will be able to by next season.

Thank you to the entire Eldora community for your continued support.
