Coolers: Coolers up to 14'' are permitted. No glass bottles. Ohio Revised Code 4301.62 prohibits the carry in or carry out of alcoholic beverages. All coolers will be inspected for compliance to this law.

Medical: A fully staffed First Aid Station will be available throughout the weekend. Location will be near the Middle Gate - hour of operation will be posted.

Golf Carts: The Golf Cart Permit station will be near the Middle Gate. Hours of operation will be posted. All Golf Carts will be required to be registered and must display an Eldora Speedway 2008 Golf Cart Permit. NO Golf Carts are permitted in the main parking lot. Golf Cart parking area is outside of the turn four gate. STATE LAW - Golf Carts are not permitted on any roadway.

Hillside Seating: Hillside & General Admission Markings for the 4-Crown Nationals may begin FRIDAY morning - September 19 at 8:00 am. Anything placed before that time will be removed by track management. General Admission hillside areas must 'marked' with the chairs or blankets intended to be used. Areas may not be marked with ropes, plastics, tarps, stakes, rocks, spray paint, etc. Chairs are not to vary from standard lawn chair size, width and height.

Camping: Camping is available on the Eldora Speedway grounds. All camping is FREE for the 4-Crown weekend, and on a first come - first served basis!

Seating Update: Stadium style seats may NOT exceed 18 inches in maximum width in the grandstands or bleachers. No high back seats. Please be courteous to those around you.

September 20 - A pair of veterans and a young fresh face graced victory lane following Saturday's action-filled Chevrolet American Revolution Weekend at Eldora Speedway. Returning to the podium as USAC (United States Auto Club) winners were J.J. Yeley in the National Midget Series finale and Dave Darland in the Silver Crown main event, while diminutive Brad Sweet graced the stage for the first time with his triumph in the National Sprint Series feature. <read story>

September 20 - Preliminary numbers look be over 40 sprint cars, 30 midgets, and around 30 silver crown as well. Qualifying will take place at 3:30 pm today and racing is at 7:30. See you at the track!

September 19 - One of the toughest feats to accomplish with the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series is to sweep an event, which consists of setting fast time, winning a heat race, winning the Crane Cams Dash and also being victorious in the A-Feature event. Last season Joey Saldana was the only driver to turn the trick with the series. He became the first driver to pick up a clean sweep this season on Friday night as he kicked off the Chevy American Revolution weekend at the famed Eldora Speedway in Ohio by having a perfect night. <read story>

September 18 - Whenever Jac Haudenschild enters a race at Eldora Speedway, he appears to be in his comfort zone, and with his recent run of successes along the rugged World of Outlaw (WoO) Sprint Car trail, he is eagerly awaiting Friday night's (Sept. 19) WoO final 2008 attack of Eldora. <read story>

September 17 - History is added to each time that the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series visits the famed Eldora Speedway in Ohio. In the series last stop at the high-banked half-mile, Daryn Pittman was victorious in the Kings Royal, making his car owner Reeve Kruck the first Australia owner to win the famed event. <read more>

September 16 - It was announced today that the gigantic Team Chevrolet mobile display will once again be on hand during the American Revolution weekend. This is the same display you would normally see at the NASCAR weekends. Scroll down the page for photos of the display at the '07 4-Crown weekend...

September 16 - Hurricane Ike must have been a race fan. Unlike most of the torrential storms that batter the coast lines and fizzle out as they travel North, Hurricane Ike continued to whallop a punch right through Ohio on Sunday, with repeated wind gusts in excess of 75 miles per hour. The end result was downed trees and loss of electricity to nearly two million customers statewide. <read more>

September 15 - For open wheel fans, keeping up with where their favorite USAC and World of Outlaws drivers are racing each weekend can be quite a challenge as each series criss-crosses the country chasing season-long championships. <read more>

September 15 - Race fans will get an extra treat this weekend... It was announced this week by a JJ Yeley representative that he intends to run all three USAC divisions on Saturday night. This will mark only the third time since 2003 (following his departure for NASCAR) that Yeley will compete on the half-mile.

September 12 - Over the past 27 years, Eldora Speedway's Four Crown Nationals has undergone a few tweaks and endured fine tuning, but it appears that the current menu, as introduced last year, is magic. Set for the weekend of September 19 and 20, the Chevrolet sponsored American Revolution Four Crown Nationals will again showcase four National open wheel divisions. And, as has been the case many times over for this premier event, it could prove to be a pivotal point for several championship chases. <read more>
