If you’re in the area over the course of August 21-29 - be sure to stop in at the Great Darke County Fair and visit the Eldora displays.  We have two displays this year - one inside the Coliseum and one outside on the midway.  Schedules, posters, fans, stickers, and more will be available at the indoor display.  The outdoor display consists of the two show cars (Sprint and Late Model), plus clearance sales on some great Eldora merchandise!

Eldora drivers will also be appearing each night for autograph sessions.  Check at the booth for names and times!

The Darke County Fair is billed as the largest county fair in the state of Ohio - so don’t miss it!

A new addition to the promotional team - the first ever Eldora show car!  It will debut next weekend at a show in Dayton, Ohio….

Tony was on hand Saturday night to crown Eldora champions Matt Miller (late model), Jerry Bowersock (modified), and Mike Dirksen (stock car).  Also honored was Rusty Schlenk (ALMS) and Dale Blaney (ASCoC).

There won’t be any racing at Eldora Speedway this Saturday, but you can still get your racing fix by visiting the Chief SuperMarket locations in Coldwater and Celina.  The community wide event, appropriately titled, “Race Into Savings” takes place Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at both locations.

Stop out and pick up some great Eldora freebies, racing schedules, and get entered to win race tickets!  Several Eldora cars and drivers will be on hand to chat with fans and sign autographs as well.

Chief’s in Coldwater is located at 810 East Main St, while Chief’s in Celina can be found at 221 Summit Street.

An added bonus for those in attendance on Friday night is a Chili Party following the racing portion of the evening program! Fans, teams, and drivers alike are invited to the post race party located in the multipurpose barn.

For just $3.00, patrons can get their fill on homeade chili and hot dogs while enjoying live music from DJ Good Vibrations. Special beverage pricing will be available as well.

An Eldora welcome goes out to Emerson Climate Technologies in Sidney, Ohio this weekend.  Saturday night, Emerson will be taking part in a company outing at the Speedway.  The company picnic for the ECT employees, families, and friends will consist of pre-race hospitality, a driver meet and greet, and a fun filled night of auto racing action with the World of Outlaws.

Eldora was out in full force over the weekend down in Greenville - taking part in pre-race displays at Ron Garrett Chevrolet, Tail Gators Sports Bar, and Advance Auto Parts.

Friday night kicked off at Ron Garrett Chevrolet with driver Levi Jones taking part in a meet and greet at the dealership showroom.  The TSR #20 sprint car was on display, along with the new Eldora Chevrolet Pace Truck.

The party then moved across the street to Tail Gators sports bar where Jones was joined by local stock car driver Weasel Phlipot.  The crowd was entertained with driver interviews, trivia prize packs, and a special race Tail Gators race menu.

Saturday was a big day at Advance Auto Parts, with local hot shoes Shawn Phillippi, Todd Sanders, Glen Knick, and Mike Barr taking part in a race car display and live radio remote in the store parking lot.

Thank you to the drivers and crews who took time out of their weekend to help promote the local auto racing scene.  A big thank you to the store managers who helped coordinate each event as well!
