New Admission Gate Areas
In an effort to facilitate better entry into Eldora Speedway’s events, track officials have been busy during the off-season with improvements to the two general admission gate areas.
The Main Gate ticket booth has been enlarged; with the number of ticket purchase windows increased to six. With the new design the ticket purchase system has been revamped as well. For as long as race fans can remember, the system at Eldora was to first purchase your General Admission (GA) tickets in one line and then, if you wanted a Reserved seat, you had to stand in another line to complete that process. No more. The purchase of GA and Reserved seat tickets will be done at one time, outside the gate, at the properly marked ticket windows.
Additionally, there will be a clearly marked Will Call window, and a GA window, for those not desiring Reserved seats. Other than the major events, during the early part of the evening, the South side of the Main Gate area will be closed, with all entry into the
At the Middle Gate, a shelter building has been erected, with multiple gates to clearly identify the entrance paths and ease the former congestion at that area. The mandatory Cooler and Package Check Point will be on the far left as you enter, with 4’ wide aisles allowing easy access. Just a word of caution, though – the Middle Gate offers General Admission tickets and Pit Passes (if of proper age), but does not sell Reserved seat tickets. ALL Reserved seat ticket purchase must be completed at the Main Gate.
Each gate will have clearly marked signage.
