1:45 pm - Gates will swing open today at 2:00 pm... a lot of folks out and about today. It's going to be a warm one - high near 90 degrees.

Camera crews are setting up for tonight's Kings Royal race. The event will be tape delayed on Speed Channel in a couple weeks. More information on that to come...

Several drivers have offered to jump on the Dunk Tank this afternoon to help raise money for the United Way. Drivers going up during the 3:00 hour include Paul McMahan, Sheldon Haudenschild, and Korey Crabtree.

5:30 pm - We've got a full pit tonight... currently at 49 WoO Sprints and 36 NRA Sprints. The traditional 6 heat Kings Royal format will be used tonight.

Six heats with an invert of three in each heat. Top three from each heat transfer to the Kings Royal. Heat winners will start in the first three rows (invert of six in the feature - winner of sixth heat starts on pole, winner of first heat starts sixth). Second place finishers in the heats will start 7th through 12th. Third place finishers in the heats will start 13th through 18th. Positions 19 and 20 in the Kings Royal will go to the two fastest qualifiers who fail to transfer though the heat races. Positions 21 through 24 will be filled by the top four finishers in the B-Main.

Walker is closing in fast on Swindell in lapped traffic!

Steve Kinser is off the pace and slows to a stop in turn 4. He is in the work area and trying to make repairs.

Repairs have been made and Steve Kinser is back on the speedway!! Green flag next time around.

Red flag as Lynch Jr. spins in front of the field and gets upside down. Saldana and Smith also involved. Daryn Pittman and Tim Shaffer also sustained some damage and both have called it a night. Lynch has climbed out of the 2L.

Saldana is slowly getting out of his car. He will be evaluated by medical personnel.

Open red flag is taking place and teams are making changes and repairs. 29 laps remain once we get back green.

Word over the WoO radio is that Joey Saldana is being treated for a possible arm injury.
