A
new chapter is being added to the Eldora history books. Construction
of a new Kart and Quarter Midget track began in late spring
of 2010, and is located in the northeast section of the property
(outside turn 3 of the big track).
'little eldora', as it is affectionately known, is a 1/7 mile
dirt oval. A regulation size Quarter Midget track is also located
inside of the kart track. The two tracks share a common straightaway.
The Quarter Midget track saw its first even during the 4-Crown
Nationals weekend. Over 245 entries raced in this event! Go
Karts hit the 1/7 mile for the first time Oct 3rd and entries
hit a staggering 255! The third and final event of 2010 took
top honors as 354 go karts competed over Halloween weekend.
