CAMPGROUND OPENS ACROSS FROM ELDORA

ROSSBURG, OH (May 25) -- With Eldora Speedway’s ‘major event’ season rapidly approaching, promoter Larry Kemp has announced that Race Track Camping (RTC) will be opening and managing a campground on the West side of State Route 118, adjacent to the speedway property.

The prime location is directly across the highway from the main gate to Eldora.

Race Track Camping has stated that the campground will be available from Thursday, June 2 through Sunday, June 12. This time period coincides with three of Eldora’s premier events - World of Outlaw Sprints (June 4), Nextel Prelude to the Dream (June 8) and the 11th annual Dirt Late Model Dream (June 10 & 11).

Site fees have been kept reasonable and reservations for space are being accepted by contacting Race Track Camping at (765) 238-0617.

Officials from RTC have indicated that full compliance with Eldora’s previously announced Golf Cart Permit requirements will be enforced. All golf carts and motorized vehicles are required to purchase and display a 2005 Eldora Speedway Golf Cart Permit decal prior to operation.
