The World of Outlaws will visit Eldora Speedway
for the final time this season on Friday, September 21 as part

at the famed half-mile.
In the first four A-Feature events contested
at the track this season, four different drivers have visited
the winner’s circle. Jason Meyers won the first race of
the season at the track on April 13, followed by Paul McMahan’s
victory on June 2. Steve Kinser won the Knight Before the Kings
Royal on July 13, with Donny Schatz taking home the $50,000
win in the Kings Royal on July 14.
The World of Outlaws have sanctioned 119 A-Feature

season of 1978. In that span, 26 different drivers have won
at the track, including 11 current World of Outlaws drivers.
Donny Schatz won the Kings Royal for the first
time in his career in the series last visit to the track in
July, leading 35 laps, en route to his first A-Feature victory
at the track. In four starts this season at Eldora, the native

one. To date, he has 16 A-Feature wins, including eight on half-mile
tracks, along with 61 Top-10 finishes and leads the championship

consecutive title.
Saldana finished sixth in the Kings Royal and
