ENGINEERING ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH ELDORA SPEEDWAY
ROSSBURG,
OH (Jan. 9) – Moser Engineering, the leader in high-performance
rear end components, has revealed a lucrative partnership with
Eldora Speedway that will see the Portland, IN based company
heavily involved with the track’s UMP (United Midwestern
Promoters) Modified division. The exciting announcement was
made by Moser’s marketing director, Jon Bennett during
Eldora Speedway’s recent Awards Banquet, before a sold-out
audience.
Effective with the 2008 campaign, Moser will
become the title sponsor of the UMP Nationals, staged annually
in October at the one-half mile clay oval speed plant. As such,
the Moser Engineering UMP Nationals will see an increase in
prize money for the competitors, as well as substantial product
awards.
Additionally,
the Modified division that competes multiple times throughout
the season at Eldora will become known as the Moser UMP Modifieds,
with further incentives forthcoming.
“This is a perfect match”, explained
Bennett. “Without question Eldora Speedway is the leader
in grassroots auto racing; no matter where you go around the
Nation, everyone has heard of Eldora. And with us being the
leader in quality rear-end components, it’s only natural
that we join together. We are excited to showcase our products
through the faithful Eldora fraternity.”
Established in 1982 by drag racing standout
Greg Moser, Moser Engineering was built on a reputation of quality
and customer satisfaction. Tragically, Greg and his wife Marianne,
lost their lives in a 2003 accident, but the tradition of excellence
has been carried forward under the leadership of their son,
Rob, and his wife Susan.
A solid business plan, a passion to succeed
and a company-wide goal of meeting their customer’s expectations
has firmly planted Moser Engineering as an industry leader.
The Moser UMP Modifieds will see their first
2008 action at Eldora on Saturday, April 5, when the historic
facility opens its season in a tripleheader joined by the wingless
USAC (United States Auto Club) Sprints and Advance Auto Parts
Stock Cars.
