ANNOUNCES 2010 MAJOR EVENT DATES
ROSSBURG, OH (Sept. 24) – Even with
several checkered flags yet to be waved in 2009, Eldora Speedway
officials have announced the dates of their 2010 major events,
to allow fans to begin making travel plans and put in vacation
requests.
Mirroring previous years, the 16th annual
Dirt Late Model Dream will be contested over the weekend of
June 11 & 12, with the Prelude to the Dream tentatively
inked for June 9. Entering its 27th year, the Knight Before
the Kings Royal will take to the one-half mile clay oval on
July 16, followed by the Kings Royal July 17. Also set on
the calendar is the 40th annual running of the World 100 over
the weekend of September 10 and 11.
Eldora owner, and two-time NASCAR Sprint
Cup champion, Tony Stewart has also confirmed that there will
be not ticket price increases for these confirmed major event
dates.
Again, with tradition in mind, tickets for
the Dirt Late Model Dream, Kings Royal weekend and the World
100 will go on sale December 1 by online sales (www.eldoraspeedway.com)
or by calling the track office (937.338.3815). No ticket sale
date has been released for the Prelude to the Dream.

Following
this weekend’s Team Chevy 4 Crown Nationals, Eldora
will host the University of Northwestern Ohio Sprintacular
on October 3, with NRA (National Racing Alliance) Sprint Invaders,
305 Sprints, Stock Cars and Legends. The season will then
wrap up with the Pak A Sak UMP (United Midwestern Promoters)
National Championships over the weekend of October 9 &
10.
