ANNOUNCES OPPORTUNITY TO SING NATIONAL ANTHEM
ROSSBURG,
OH (March 8) – One of the more popular questions asked
of the Eldora Speedway office staff over the years has been
“how can I sing the National Anthem at Eldora”.
As a result, the staff has announced the following plan.
Anyone having a desire to sing the Star Spangled Banner
in pre-race ceremonies at Eldora Speedway should submit
to the speedway a CD recording of them singing the National
song. In addition, a short biography and listing of past
performance locations is encouraged; along with available
2010 dates.
While the 2010 major event dates at Eldora have been assigned,
the popular southwestern Ohio speed plant is seeking to
have a live rendition of the National Anthem at every event.

Once the applications are reviewed the speedway staff will
be in contact with the successful candidates to make arrangements
to schedule dates.
