MOPAR TO HOST VIRTUAL DIRT TRACK CHALLENGE DURING 'MOPAR THUNDER WEEKEND' AT
ELDORA SPEEDWAY

Center Line, Mich. - Race fans who've longed to take on the high banks of Eldora Speedway will get their chance, as Mopar hosts a virtual dirt track challenge during the Mopar Thunder Weekend at the facility. From August 4 to 6, the Mopar Virtual Dirt Track Challenge will take place daily, giving race fans the opportunity to test their sprint car racing skills.

Competitors will compete on board the No. 20 World of Outlaws Sprint Series machine piloted by Danny Lasoski, or the No. 20 or No. 21 USAC entries driven by Josh Wise and Jay Drake. The top two winners from the Final Eight round each day will go head-to-head in a final match race. The winner will win a No. 9 Evernham Motorsports Mopar Barbed Wire diecast car, just like the machine that Kasey Kahne piloted in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup event at Lowe's Motor Speedway last fall. The runner-up each day will receive a Team Mopar hat signed by Lasoski, Wise and Drake.

Qualifying for the Mopar Virtual Dirt Track Challenge will begin at 4:30 p.m. EST on August 4, at 4 p.m. EST on August 5, and 1 p.m. EST on August 6. The final round eliminations will begin at 6:30 p.m. EST on August 4 and 5, and at 4 p.m. EST on August 6. Each competitor is allowed one qualification attempt per day. The contest will take place at the Mopar display area at Eldora Speedway.

The Mopar Virtual Dirt Track Challenge will be hosted by Tim's Sprint Car Simulators. Participants are responsible for their timeliness during the qualifying and final rounds. Any final round participant who is absent during the designated time of competition forfeits his or her opportunity to compete.
