Rob Chaney stole the show at the Mopar Thunder on Saturday night
and picked up $50,000 in the process! Complete results are now posted.

August 6, 2005:
There will be two rounds of qualifying tonight. Each driver gets
one lap in each round and must redraw for qualifying order after
the first round. There will be six heat races (inverted by six)
with the top three advancing to the feature. Finishing 4th through
6th in the heat will take a driver to the B-main (lined up by time).
7th on back goes to the C-main (lined up by time). The top two qualifiers
not advancing through their heat races will lineup 19th and 20th
in the feature. The top six finishers in the B-main will tag the
tail of the Mopar Thunder feature. The feature will be by six positions.
We have a heavy track tonight, so the sprints are packing in the
surface at this time. Next update will be after the completion of
the racing action tonight.
August 5, 2005:
Jac Haudenschild came away with the World of Outlaws win tonight
at Eldora. Jeep VanWormer took the top prize in the Sunoco American
Late Model Series. Complete results are posted on the results page.

August 4, 2005: Randy
Hannagan won the Thursday night opener to the Mopar Weekend of Thunder
at Eldora Speedway. Chad Kemenah and Dale Blaney rounded out the
top three. Brian Ruhlman won in the UMP Modifieds and Mike Dirksen

August 2, 2005: Race
fans will have an opportunity to get up close and personal with
the stars of the USAC Valvoline National Sprint Car Series during
the Mopar Thunder Weekend at Eldora Speedway, as USAC will host
an autograph session on Saturday, August 6. The event is scheduled
to take place from 2:30 p.m. EST to 3:30 p.m. EST in the trade show
building, located between Turns 3 & 4 at Eldora Speedway. [read

“Mopar Thunder” Champion Kevin Huntley of Bloomington,
Ind. and teammate Dickie Gaines of Mitchell, Ind. headline the preliminary
entries for this weekend’s renewal of America’s richest
non-winged Sprint Car race at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.
Saturday’s event at the 1/2-mile dirt oval offers $166,600

Line, Mich. - Race fans who've longed to take on the high banks
of Eldora Speedway will get their chance, as Mopar hosts a virtual
dirt track challenge during the Mopar Thunder Weekend at the facility.
From August 4 to 6, the Mopar Virtual Dirt Track Challenge will
take place daily, giving race fans the opportunity to test their

July 28, 2005: Look
for the current Mopar Thunder entry list to be posted to the website
on Monday afternoon. July 30th is the early entry cut-off, so once
all of the early entrants are compiled, they will be posted. Drivers
and teams can enter the race all the way up to the pill draw on
August 6th of course - the early entry deadline simply carries a
cheaper entry fee.
July 11, 2005: Money,
lots of money, will be up for grabs within a 30-day period as Eldora
Speedway shifts its 2005 slate of events into high gear, beginning
with this weekend’s (July 15 & 16) 22nd annual Kings Royal.
Over $500,000 in prize money is on the line through August 17, with
the bulk of it geared towards Sprint Car racing and varying sanctioning
