Coolers: Coolers up to 14'' are permitted. No glass bottles. Ohio Revised Code 4301.62 prohibits the carry in or carry out of alcoholic beverages. All coolers will be inspected for compliance to this law.

Medical: A fully staffed First Aid Station will be available throughout the week. Location will be near the Middle Gate - hour of operation will be posted.

Golf Carts: The Golf Cart Permit station will be near the Middle Gate. Hours of operation will be posted. All Golf Carts will be required to be registered and must display an Eldora Speedway 2007 Golf Cart Permit. NO Golf Carts are permitted in the main parking lot. Golf Cart parking area is outside of the turn four gate. STATE LAW - Golf Carts are not permitted on any roadway.

Hillside Seating: Hillside & General Admission Markings for the World 100 may begin THURSDAY morning - September 6 at 8:00 am. Anything placed before that time will be removed by track management. General Admission hillside areas must 'marked' with the chairs or blankets intended to be used. Areas may not be marked with ropes, plastics, tarps, stakes, rocks, spray paint, etc. Chairs are not to vary from standard lawn chair size, width and height.

Camping: All available reserved spaces in Lot #1, Lot #2 and Eldora Village have been filled. Lot #3 on the Eldora Speedway grounds remains first-come, first-served and will open Saturday – September 1. ADDITIONALLY – Eldora Village will be extended and additional spaces will become available for purchase upon arrival, starting Sunday – September 2.

Showers: Showers will be located outside of turn four. See the Weekend schedule page for times.

World 100 Seating Update: Stadium style seats may NOT exceed 18 inches in maximum width in the grandstands or bleachers. No high back seats. Please be courteous to those around you.

World 100 Video: Fans wishing to purchase a copy of the 2006 World 100 may do so by contacting Sports Plus Video - the official video production company for the World 100 at Eldora Speedway. September 9: Jimmy Owens scored the biggest victory of his life Sunday afternoon in the World 100 - a race ran forced to run Sunday afternoon after being rained out on Saturday night. Full results <here>. Race by race notes <here>

September 8: Just as the push trucks began to make some serious headway on the track surface, the rains returned, negating all progress made. The raindate for the World 100 is Sunday and we will try attempt two at that time. Gates will be cleared at 9:00 am and re-opened around 10:30 am. Drivers meeting is scheduled for 11:30 am, with the first heat race set for 1:00 pm.

September 8: SATURDAY UPDATE - 5:45 pm - Here we go again... Mother Nature has stepped in and put a temporary halt to World 100 racing , nearly the same time as she did yesterday. We will be under a holding pattern while we wait out this weather. By no means have plans been scrapped, so stay tuned as we hope to get underway again later this evening. September 7: 6:41 pm - Jimmy Owens took top honors in World 100 qualifications on Friday night. Check out the lap times in WORLD LIVE!

September 7: 3:00 pm - 202 cars are on the grounds as we enter the last hour of technical inspection.

September 6: Eldora Speedway has turned into a city of its own once again! Campers, motorhomes, tents, haulers, race cars, and fans of all ages have flooded the grounds this Thursday evening. At the 8:30 pm cut-off to day one tech inspection, 137 late models were awarded the official World 100 tech sticker. Tech will resume Friday morning at 9:00 am. September 5: More than 30 haulers are now staged in the north lot, and the pre-entry list has ballooned to nearly 150 entrants as of Wednesday evening. Camping and hauler shots have been added below.

September 5: World 100 tickets are no longer available for purchase online. Tickets may be purchased at the following times:
Wednesday -
9:00 am to 5:00 pm (by phone or in person)
Thursday -
9:00 am to 12:00 pm (by phone); 5:00 to 8:00 pm (in person at the track)
Friday -
tickets go on sale beginning at 9:00 am
Saturday -
tickets go on sale beginning at 10:00 am

September 4: The first wave of haulers have hit the grounds this evening. The first 15 haulers have made their way to the pit staging lane outside of turn three. More news and photos to follow on Wednesday....

September 2: Jeep VanWormer can hardly wait for this weekend’s famed World 100 at Eldora Speedway! After turning heads in last year’s running with a stellar third place finish, he backed that up Sunday night to best a 69 car field with a hard fought victory in the Johnny Appleseed Classic. <results> <story>

September 1 -Bert Transmission, Knep’s Competition GraphiCs and Race Cover-Alls, LLC are among the latest industry partners in this year’s 37th annual running of the World 100 at Eldora Speedway over the weekend of September 7 and 8. <more>

August 31 - Before he even takes the green flag, one of the drivers in the starting line-up for the 37th annual running of the World 100 (September 7 & 8) at Eldora Speedway will find their product inventory increased by over $1700.00. <more>

August 31 - Sunoco Race Fuels has partnered with the popular motorsports talk show “Dirt Nation” again in 2007 to bring race fans the “LIVE” Sunoco Race Fuels World 100 Pre-Race Show from Eldora Speedway in Rossburg Ohio on Saturday September 8th. <more>

August 30 - For the second consecutive year, the Young Oil Corporation will be presenting the quickest of the World 100 qualifiers at Eldora Speedway, a check for $1,000. The Young Oil Fast Qualifier Award will be presented to the World 100 driver that sets the fastest time trial run after the two rounds of single lap qualifying on Friday night, September 7. <more>

August 20 - With the prominence and impact of the World 100 weekend at Eldora Speedway, many teams have used that event to debut new paint schemes. The concept has been successful in drawing attention to the teams and their sponsors. Under that premise, this year’s 37th annual running of the famed event will see the unveiling of the Best Appearing Car and Crew award. To be voted upon by the media members in attendance, the award will carry a $500 cash bonus and plaque, as sponsored by www.dirtondirt.com. <more>

August 20 - Eldora Speedway is the home of many great traditional events, rich in history and prestige, with the two longest running events set to kick off the month of September at the historic speed plant. Both events were created by Eldora’s founder, Earl Baltes, who sold the track to two-time NASCAR champion Tony Stewart in 2005. Stewart’s commitment to continue the Eldora legacy has seen a continuation of these celebrated events. <more>

August 11 - The third annual NEXTEL Prelude to the Dream presented by Old Spice, held June 6 and broadcast live on HBO Pay-Per-View, raised $800,000 for charity. The 30-lap dirt late model event at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, featured some of racing’s biggest stars <more>

Earl Pearson Jr took home the victory in the Subway 50 World of Outlaws race on Friday night - in one of the most unforgettable races at the Big E in quite some time. He outlasted a hoard of talent - including track owner Tony Stewart - and served notice he is ready to defend his World 100 title. <more>

- In recognition of his tireless efforts to promote Eldora Speedway and the sport of auto racing, the State of Ohio and Tony Stewart will honor Earl Baltes on Friday evening, July 27, just prior to the start of the Subway 50. <more>

January 11 - Working off of a successful formula of previous years, Tony Stewart has released an aggressive slate of 2007 events for his Southwestern Ohio one-half mile clay oval. <more>
