4:13 pm: Drivers meeting has been set for 5:00 pm tonight. One change from previous years is that the mandatory meeting will be held topside, in the multi-purpose building outside of turn four. Hot Laps are set for 6:00 pm tonight. Still teching the last few cars, but we're in the neighborhood of 130 Late Models this evening.... more to come!

HOW THE WORLD 100 LINEUPS ARE DETERMINED:
- At the time of inspection, all cars draw for positions in the two qualifying rounds, with the fastest of the two laps used for placement in the heat races and non-qualifier events.

- The fastest 120 cars from time trials are placed into one of six heat races, staggered by times, with the inversion determined by a wheel spin on Friday night.

- Finishers 1-3 from the heat races advance to the World 100, by finishing position, to fill spots 1-18. Winner of the sixth heat starts on the pole, while the winner of the first heat starts sixth. The next six positions are filled by the second place finishers from the heats, starting with the first heat, and then the next six filled by the third place finishers, again, starting with the first heat.

- Finishers 4-11 from the heat races transfer to one of the two B-Mains, staggered by heat race finish.

- The first 4 finishers from each B-Main fill spots 21-28 in the World 100, in order of B-Main finish

- Positions 19 & 20 in the World 100 are filled by the quickest two drivers from time trials that did not make the cut through the heat races.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SAT (10:00 am) Good Morning from Eldora Speedway! Heat Race Lineups have been posted below...

(5:30 pm) Pre_Race Ceremonies are ongoing down on the stage at this time. We're just a little over one hour until race time!

(5:50 pm) Shane Clanton and his Georgia Bulldog design just won the World 100 Best Appearing Car award.

(6:05 pm) The National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame is currently on stage announcing the 2011 induction class names... Push trucks just entered the race track to begin ironing in the racing surface. As of now, we are still looking at a 7:00 start time.

(6:20 pm) Pre-Race beginning to wrap up as push trucks continue to iron in the surface and the stands continue to fill up. We're getting closer!

6:38pm five min. until opening ceremonies

6:50pm Going to be just a few min. longer, push trucks still putting the finishing touches on the track after the afternoon rain showers

(7:05 pm) The last part of the track is taking a few minutes longer than originally thought to get ironed in. First two heats are now staged. It looks as if we will have a couple alternates - we'll get those listed soon... Track is definitely going to be fast tonight.

(7:25 pm) This race track has really taken longer than anyone thought. Several drivers have mentioned during PA interviews that they didn't realize how much moisture was actually in the track after that rain. The bottom and middle third of the track have come in - trucks are just trying to finish off that top side. It's so cool out, it's just been a slower than normal process.... drivers in the first heat will be given a few laps to hot lap and blow the track off before lining up and going green...

(7:45pm) Track getting much closer...

(8:00 pm) Track officials say National Anthem at 8:15 pm.

(8:15 pm) Well Mother Nature threw us a big curve ball, but the time has finally come! Opening ceremonies are up, and heat one will hit the track immediately there after...
