updated 5/4/21 (see pit passes)

This page will reflect the latest information on 2021 Eldora tickets. Please check back often.

The current order, issued 4/9/21, by the Ohio Department of Health and Governor Mike DeWine includes the requirement to maintain six feet of social distance between ticketed groups within the facility. This reduces the number of seats available for purchase. We expect our May events to achieve a capacity of approximately 30% on a reserved seat basis. We are hopeful that restrictions will be eased in the future. As occurs our expectation would be an increase in capacity. As a result, on-sale dates for events will likely be staggered throughout the year as we await further revisions to the current order. The following chart will be updated as on-sale dates are added each month.

Important information surrounding tickets, camping and suites are detailed below.

Tickets purchased for 2020 events are valid for the applicable 2021 date(s). The only exception being Thursday major event tickets from 2020. Those are now valid for Wednesday of the 2021 major event week. In regards to #LetsRaceTwo specifically, tickets purchased for the 2020 #LetsRaceTwo events are valid for the applicable 2021 event (Friday for Friday, Saturday for Saturday). Patrons holding previously purchased tickets will not be forced to relocate. The seat location on your ticket is still valid. Seats surrounding these previous purchases have been pulled to comply with social distancing guidelines. There are also some alternative seats available for anyone not comfortable with their seating situation.

In order to comply with the current ODH order, every other row has been removed from the remaining ticket inventory. Furthermore, our new ticketing system has a tool enabled that will allow all patrons the ability to choose their reserved seat location, and automatically blocks out vacant seats on each side of an order before allowing the next patron to purchase tickets. As a result, certain sections and areas of seating are expected to fill-up quickly.

NEW INFO FOR 2021: please see below for info regarding North Terrace, South Terrace, and Reserved Lawn Seating.

For 2021, Rows 2 & 3 of South Terrace (ST) have been extended all the way to the scoreboard.
ST now has four sections like the North Terrace (NT). The original ST will now be ST-A.
    North Terrace (NT-A, NT-B, NT-C, and NT-D)
    South Terrace (ST-A, ST-B, ST-C, and ST-D)

Reservations in all terraces do not include a physical seat. Patrons must provide their own lawn chair (max. width of 27″/no highbacks/no ‘Captain’s Chairs’/no tent chairs).

The grass hillsides at both the north and south ends of the speedway have been professionally surveyed and will be marked prior to event weekends for “Reserved Lawn Seating.”

Using industry best practices, ODH orders, and CDC guidelines in response to the COVID-19 health crisis, Eldora officials have found this to be the optimal solution to accommodating the maximum number of race fans possible.

North Lawn (NL-A, NL-B, NL-C, NL-D) is located in the grass area immediately below the correlating section of North Terrace.
South Lawn (SL-A, SL-B, SL-C, SL-D) is located within the correlating sections of South Terrace. The top row(s) are in the uppermost grass area separating the three terrace walkways. The middle rows are in the grass area separating the middle walkway from the lower walkway. The lowest rows are in the festival lawn area and on the berm that rings Turns 1 & 2.

Reservations for all Reserved Lawn do not include a physical seat. Patrons must provide their own lawn chair (max. width of 27″/no highbacks/no ‘Captain’s Chairs’/no tent chairs).

To reduce touch points, Eldora will transition to digital tickets for 2021. The physical hard stock tickets issued last year will still be honored but new tickets sold going forward will primarily be in digital form (sent to your phone or print-at-home). In either scenario, the bar code on the ticket will be scanned at the gate. Will Call will remain an option for patrons without a phone or access to a printer. **We will post instructional information for those of you new to this form of ticketing in the coming days.**

Camping spaces will not be affected by social distance guidelines and we expect to have all camping spots throughout the property at our disposal for each event this year. Camping permits currently held from original 2020 dates are valid and will be honored for the applicable 2021 dates. Additionally, for the ‘Double Major Event’ weeks, one camping permit will be valid for the entire week and covers both shows. As with race tickets, all camping permits sold going forward can now delivered as print-at-home.

To review, the ‘Double Majors’ weeks are setup as Wednesday being the opening night for the Thursday finale. Friday is then the opening night for the Saturday finale. Each major event carries with it an opening night of full racing action.

  • If you had a Saturday ticket in 2020, your ticket is good for Saturday in 2021
  • If you had a Friday ticket in 2020, your ticket is good for Friday in 2021
  • Patrons holding Saturday tickets from 2020 will get first opportunity to purchase Thursday tickets for 2021 prior to public sales.
  • If you had a Thursday ticket in 2020, your ticket is good for Wednesday in 2021
  • Further information will be communicated regarding the ticketing process for these events soon.

There are several reasons the schedule is setup with the ‘2021’ major event being run before the ‘2020’ version (ex: 51st World is before the 50th). Among those is that patrons who purchased tickets for a 2020 major event purchased them with the expectation the event would be on a Saturday. Moving that to a Thursday would have likely caused a greater inconvenience to more people. So the decision was made to keep the originally scheduled ‘2020’ version of each major event as the Saturday show and add the ‘2021’ version of each major event to the Thursday slot. Additionally, as it pertains to the World 100 specifically, it would be an injustice to the event and the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of The Biggest Dirt Race in The World™ to move that off of its traditional Saturday slot.

The suites will be open for each event. Previously purchased suites will be honored on their applicable 2021 dates. There is some limited availability remaining for Lets Race Two. Call the ticket office to inquire (937-338-3815). PLEASE NOTE: the number of people permitted on the elevator will be restricted. As always, the suite lessee is responsible for the conduct of their guests – and this includes compliance with current ODH orders.

We can’t thank you enough for your loyalty and patience thus far. But please, please continue to be patient and hang tight just a little longer and we’ll have answers to your questions. There are many, many moving parts to getting the facility open and conforming to state regulations and it’s often a moving target that compounds the situation further. From a ticketing standpoint, we are working round the clock with our ticketing provider to finalize the changes to the system that are required before tickets can be put back on sale.
