As each afternoon progresses and we get closer to race time, please be prepared for congested traffic around the Speedway. As lots closest to the entrance gates reach capacity, please be aware of your other parking options. The map below depicts vehicle parking areas and their entry points.
Everyone arrives at different times throughout the week but most leave at the same time after the race. As such, parking lots and roadways can be congested. To help alleviate congestion, local authorities will be initiating a post-race traffic pattern with counterflow on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights that will get the lots emptied quicker.
Please look at the map below. Each lot will exit in a specific direction. If you find yourself going in the opposite direction that you need to be going, check out a local map of the area roads. Many roads and highways in this area are square mile blocks so getting yourself pointed in the right direction should be a breeze.
Please note: If you are camped in Eldora Village or Speedy and drive a vehicle across the road to park for the races – you will not be able to cross back into the campgrounds until the lots have emptied and traffic has cleared.
Driver entry for the 2023 Eldora Million is now open! One driver will walk away with the richest payday in the history of dirt track racing with $1,002,023 awaiting the Champion. The two-day event has posted prize money in excess of $1.5 Million. The event runs July 12 & 13 and is part of a four-day blockbuster week for Winged Sprint Cars with the 40th Kings Royal set to follow on July 14 & 15.

Other notable pieces of #EldoraMillion information released within the entry form include the event format, which is detailed in the graphics below:
Due to the high demand for General Admission seating at this week’s events, Eldora officials have updated the timing and procedure for grass hillside markings in an effort to create a safer entry process for fans.
On Wednesday, July 12, admission gates will open at 9:00 am. Eldora staff members will walk each line into the facility in a 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙡𝙮 fashion. Lines will be walked to each respective holding area (see map above). Once all fans have safely moved inside the facility, the Eldora staff members will simultaneously release each line to begin placing chairs on the hillside. Fans are encouraged to use the attached map to ensure they end up in the area they want to place chairs. Tickets will not be needed to enter the facility at 9am.
Gates will then close at 11:00 am on Wednesday for a complete sweep of the facility. All fans inside at that time will be asked to proceed outside the gates. Grand opening of all gates is scheduled for noon. Chairs may continue to be placed on the hillsides once gates are reopened (just make sure you have your ticket at that point!)
* Fans lined up at the main gate will have the option to proceed to the holding areas at either end of the grandstands once the doors open.
* South end campers will be lined up between sections SI and SJ.
* When placing chairs, absolutely no stakes in the ground. No spray paint.
* Only mark off space equal to the number of people in your party. When the hillsides fill up later in the weekend; if there are large unused sections in your area, our ushers may start filling it with guests who need space to sit.
* Once placed, chairs may be left in place from day to day. Chair owner assumes all responsibility of chairs left on the hill.
