RAINS FORCE POSTPONEMENT OF FOUR CROWN NATIONALS TO SUNDAY

Remainder of Program to Start With Hot Laps at Noon

ROSSBURG, OH (September 20) – Rain showers moved into Eldora Speedway Saturday evening to postpone the United States Auto Club (USAC) portion of the 33rd annual Four Crown Nationals until Sunday morning.

Upon the completion of four Sprint Car and two Midget Heat races, heavy winds and rain brought the action to a halt.   A promising radar put the program into a holding pattern for several hours before Eldora and USAC officials studied the predictive models and found no hope in completing the show that night.

Sunday’s gates will swing open at 10:00 a.m., with a quick hot lap session at Noon.   The remainder of the Saturday program, the Sprint Car B-Feature and A-Features for the Midget, Sprint and Silver Crown divisions to follow immediately thereafter.

All pit passes and purchased tickets will be honored at that time.

The remainder of the event will be streamed live via online PPV video. All Saturday PPV video purchases will be honored for that stream, which will be begin at approximately 11:30 AM.
