ELDORA PARTNERS WITH SISCO AND GRASSHOPPER MOWERS

New Partnership includes 50/50 Second Prize at Saturday’s Kings Royal

NEW WESTON, Ohio (July 16, 2019) – Eldora Speedway, Superior Implement and Supply Company (SISCO) and Grasshopper Mowers today announced a partnership making Grasshopper the Official Mower of Eldora Speedway.

SISCO, the distributor for Grasshopper Mowers in Ohio, is located just down the road from Eldora Speedway in Greenville.

“It’s a perfect partnership,” said SISCO’s Josh Overholser. “Just as Earl Baltes was a visionary and innovator in the world of dirt track racing, Grasshopper has been a visionary and innovator with mowers, producing the world’s first zero-turn front-mount mower in 1969. And as Tony Stewart works to make Eldora bigger and better than ever, Grasshopper continues to build upon its reputation by using the latest technology to produce the perfect cut with the smoothest ride.”

In addition to providing mowers to keep the grass at Eldora Speedway and Tony Stewart Racing’s shop in Brownsburg, Indiana in tip-top shape, SISCO and Grasshopper will also make one lucky fan the winner of Grasshopper Mower valued at over $7,000 on Saturday night at the Kings Royal.

“It’s a big year for both Grasshopper and Eldora,” Overholser said. “Eldora is going big this year by upping the ante with a record $175,000 purse for the Kings Royal, and with Grasshopper celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, we also wanted to go big and do our part to give back to the Tony Stewart Foundation and local selling charity Racing for Relief. So as a part of Saturday’s 50/50 drawing, the person who holds the 2nd ticket drawn will go home with a new model 126V 52” cut Grasshopper Mower.”

To see the prized mower and other Grasshopper models, be sure to stop by their display in the Fan Zone located outside Turns 3 and 4 during this week’s racing festivities. SISCO and Grasshopper staff will be on hand to visit with race fans and answer any questions they may have.
