Driver feedback (3 of 3): 2013 Dirt Late Model Dream & World 100 expansion

In 2013, the Dirt Late Model Dream and World 100 will expand to separate three-day shows with a full racing program each night.

Thursday will kickoff the weekend with a complete multi-event Time Trials, Heat Race, B-Features and Twin 25’s (each starting 24 cars) event.

Friday night will also feature the same complete multi-event Time Trials, Heat Race, B-Features and Twin 25’s (each starting 24 cars) event.

Saturday remains classic Eldora with the traditional electric atmosphere building up to the 7 p.m. start time and six inverted Heat Races taking the green on a fresh race track and advancing just three drivers to the Feature race. The drivers get one more shot in the Last Chance Features and then, the moment we have all been waiting for, the legendary 100-lap Championship Events.

We asked Dirt Late Model drivers:

1) What are your overall thoughts on the new 3-day event format at the Dream and World 100?

2) Are your fans excited about the changes and the opportunity to see you race more?

3) what does the addition of Thursday and Friday racing mean to you and your team?

In a three-part video series, we will present their reaction.
