2020 Schedule Updates

Coronavirus Impacts at Eldora

(Updated: May 20, 2020)

Eldora Speedway officials have announced the 26th running of the Dirt Late Model Dream, one of the legendary half-mile dirt oval’s marquee events, has been rescheduled to early June 2021. With restrictions on mass gatherings issued by federal and state authorities remaining in effect, the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic continues to have Eldora’s 67th season of racing on hold.

Please take the time to read through the Dream FAQ page surrounding the complex situation and plans moving forward, which include a non-spectator event during the June 4-6 weekend. READ MORE

The series has tentatively set aside the time frame of July 3-12 to attempt the Speedweek shows, though individual track dates have not been announced.

Fans with advance tickets, pit passes and campsites for postponed and rescheduled events should hold onto them and monitor EldoraSpeedway.com and @eldoraspeedway on their favorite social channel for rescheduled dates and times when available. Eldora officials, in concert with the nation’s premier sanctioning bodies and promoters, continue working with local, state and federal authorities on determining a safe return to racing for everyone – guests, competitors, team members and the neighboring communities.

Our sincere appreciation goes to our healthcare workers, first responders, public health officials, law enforcement, volunteer fire departments and rescue squads, ambulance services, and essential workers for their unwavering commitment to the community. From March 20th to March 24th, we donated and distributed over 3,000 pieces of personal protective equipment – surgical masks, nitrile gloves and hand sanitizer – for their use from inventory on hand for the Premier Health Infield Care Center and First Aid Stations.

As part of Eldora’s pledge to #FlattenTheCurve, our facility has been closed to the public since March 14th and the majority of our team started working from home on March 16th. Like all of Tony’s companies, Eldora is following the guidance and orders issued by state and federal officials.

We are all in this together and the fastest way for us all to return to racing is to:

  • Stay Home.
  • Wash your hands frequently.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Practice social distancing.
  • Clean and disinfect.
